About Me


Hi, I’m Kristy Daum. 

Welcome to my little piece of the world.

While I have been sewing and quilting for the better part of my life, it wasn't until a few years ago that it truly became a passion of mine, and now a small business as well.  My love of Modern Quilting runs deep as I am the President of the St. Louis Modern Quilt Guild; which I founded in July 2010.

I'm fortunate to be surrounded by Family and Friends who continually offer support and encouragement whenever I try something new.  My recent adventures include writing quilt patterns, giving presentations and workshops to local groups and traveling to expand my small business.

Here's a few random bits about me:
 
  • I'm addicted to buying antique furniture, even if I have no plan of what I'll use it for at the moment. 
  • Earned a BFA (Fine Arts) from Washington University studying Fashion Design with a minor in English Literature.
  • I'm a huge nerd and absolutely adore Doctor Who.
