New York Vacation Photos

As I mentioned in a previous post, my sister and I took a 3 day vacation to New York a few weeks ago. I've been there a handful of times before for work; but this was her first time.

I must warn you, the photos you are about to see are not your typical vacation photos, my sister was quicker with the camera...I was taking it all in, instead of shooting off the digital. Besides, I have the touristy photos from my first 3 times there.

These are more my style, this time around...

Rockafeller Center, of course...

A row of benches in Central Park...

Just one of the many scenic views in Central Park...

Again with Central Park, this is part of the Boating Lake, west side...

And you would think this was somewhere in Europe; but it's just part of the Terrace by the Angel of the Waters Fountain.
That's it for now. I'll write again soon.

I've been in a haze...

...for what seems like a whole month. Have any of you felt that way? I seriously can't remember what I have done this month. I had a short list of things I wanted to do before it got too cold; but honestly I don't think anything on my list got truly finished.

Work was absolute madness with one meeting after another and too many late nights, left me exhausted. I did get to take a vacation, my first in probably 7 years. I'll write a separate post and share some photos with you when I upload later in the week.

Now, October is almost over, my Halloween decorations are still in the basement or sitting in the bags I bought them in weeks ago when I was more spirited. My sister and I did buy pumpkins (that's one check).

I just don't want the rest of the year to zoom by this fast, I would like to enjoy at least some of it.
